2006 was all about stabilizing my life. I was a in a relationship for the first time in a long time, had friends and though I was living home in Baltimore has a lot of my health problems figured out and started treatment. I headed back to graduate school and was ready to get off the East Coast.
Ironically I was dating someone who had had WLS. From 800 lbs to 350 he had gone, but he was not following the lifestyle, the food guidelines, or anything post surgery. Looking back now I'm really glad I had that portion of the experience because I have a list of things I witnessed that I will never do!
